Once a picturesque fishing village, Trogir is now one of the most popular seaside resorts in central Dalmatia - largely because it has lost none of its charm. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants along the pretty promenade or in the old town.
The Mediterranean climate and pleasant water temperatures, which are around 20 degrees from the end of April, will delight sun worshippers. The city's many beaches are the perfect place to relax and refresh between day trips. If you want to dive even deeper into the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic, we recommend a trip along the D8, the legendary Jadranska Magistrala. The most beautiful and secluded beaches can be explored by motorbike along this fantastic coastal road.
TROGIR & ADRIATIC RIVIERA
The small town of Trogir in central Dalmatia, located in Croatia on the Adriatic Riviera. Just 20 kilometres from Split, it will delight you with its narrow and winding alleyways, where you will encounter evidence of medieval masters of various crafts at every turn. Immerse yourself in a World Heritage Site whose history dates back to ancient times and which was once one of the most important trading ports on the Adriatic. UNESCO describes Trogir as an outstanding example of a medieval town built on the layout of a Hellenistic and Roman settlement, which has preserved its urban fabric to an exceptional degree, with only minimal modern interventions.
Absolutely! The course of social and cultural development is clearly visible in every facet of the cityscape. The layout of the streets is a magnificent tapestry that goes back centuries and was decorated by the many rulers with numerous magnificent public and private palaces and fortifications. The city is also home to several magnificent Romanesque churches, which are perfectly complemented by outstanding Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period. And it's all on just 6 hectares!
And there's more! You'll also find some truly gorgeous beaches just outside the old town, on the Ciovo peninsula, and along the island. Plus, there are some amazing hiking trails! You can easily combine a relaxing trip to the beach with a delicious dinner in the town. Or follow in the footsteps of Winnetou! Most of Winnetou was filmed in Croatia, right near Trogir. In fact, the town itself became the backdrop for an American western town, with Old Shatterhand riding along in front of the cathedral and American flags hanging in front of the town hall. Praise God, it was all just for the film spectacle.
Trogir is an absolutely idyllic little town that's so much more than just a small holiday resort! The great news is that Split Airport is only three bus stops away from the centre of Trogir! Trogir is the perfect starting point for exploring Croatia and neighbouring countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Slovakia, Montenegro and Albania, by motorbike. There's so much to see and do! You can choose to go it alone on a self-guided tour or join an organised and guided tour. You can even tailor your tour to last one day or several days.
Come and see for yourself!
About us
We are a small but fine family business that has dedicated itself wholeheartedly to motorcycling! In short: we are just as enthusiastic motorbike enthusiasts as you are!
Hello, my name is Frank, I was born and raised in Germany and have the organisation and reliability so typical of us Germans.
I have years of experience on racetracks all over Europe, like Czech Republic, Spain, Germany and Italy. I know my way around the circuits in Brno, Most, Valencia, Cartagena, Almeria, Hockenheim, Lausitzring and the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Misano and Mugello in Italy and, last but not least, the racetracks in New Zealand, such as Hampton Downs, Taupo, Manfeild and, of course, Whanganui, I have experienced all of this myself and am able to give you lots of tips on how to ride a motorbike properly.
I myself have lived abroad for many years, for example in New Zealand, Panama, Colombia and now Croatia. We have travelled through all of these countries by motorbike, so I can also give a lot of tips for motorbike tours in foreign countries.
In short, we always have an open ear when it comes to motorcycling.
As a destination, here in Trogir in Croatia, we are not only a famous tourist town with a beautiful waterfront, inviting beaches and a great range of cafés and restaurants, but also a good starting point for your daily or multi-day motorcycle tours.
With many years of experience in motorbike tourism, we will do everything to make your visit a real experience.
